WHAT IS CROP

The College Reach-Out Program (CROP) at SCF provides personal and academic support to grades 6–12. Our mission is to help students pursue excellence, graduate high school and successfully transition into higher education. CROP is a grant-funded program through the Florida Department of Education, with support and resources provided by SCF to ensure students are prepared and equipped to thrive.

WHO WE SERVE

CROP is designed for students who show motivation and potential and would benefit from structured college-readiness support, including:

  • Middle and high school students
  • First-generation or underrepresented students
  • Families seeking guidance through the college planning process

If college feels overwhelming or unclear, CROP provides the roadmap.

CROP students don’t just prepare for college—they build the confidence and habits that lead to long-term success.

Student Success Stories

Before Summer Bridge, I felt confused and nervous about starting college. This program gave me the support I needed to feel confident, connected and prepared. I still use the resources and relationships I built today.

Being part of Summer Bridge helped me register early, connect with tutors and advisors, and open doors to scholarships and organizations. It truly gave me a head start.
