I dual-enrolled at SCF during high school and was inspired to become a nurse by watching what the nurses in my family do for their communities. I am really proud to now be in the nursing program at SCF, it’s dynamic with a great teacher-to-student ratio, flexible schedule and one-on-one time from instructors.“

I was initially a music major but decided that I wanted to become a nurse for job stability and to be there for people through their hardest times. Everyone at SCF is so welcoming, if you don’t understand something, the professors have many fun ways of teaching it to you to make the information click. The level of care here at SCF outweighs any campus I’ve been to.

Starting my education at SCF to become a nurse was a calling, and I wanted to do my best to help people in need. I found out about the nursing program from my mom who was also a student. I heard that other colleges had large class sizes, and I knew I would feel less like a number at SCF with a smaller group. Through the Student Nurses Association and more time with instructors. I have made so many connections and I consider my classmates as a close-knit family.
